A type of “new media” that doesn’t exist is 3D holographic video messaging. This would take messaging to a whole new level. It’s exciting, fun, innovative, and personal. It’s being able to transmit 3D holographic video from one phone to another. Users would have the option to save those messages as well. 3D holographic videos would make it feel as if whoever you are chatting with is in the room with you. This is a feature family and friends would enjoy when sending funny and/or loving videos to one another. I hope this will be designed in the near future.

    Yes I agree, holograms will be the future! It would be so amazing if we can finally see the type of sci-fi technologies we see in the movies come to real life! I hope this will be in the future as well!

    I think this idea is really cool and the technology is headed today it seems doable in the next few years. Its funny I actually also had the same idea for my blog also. It would be so cool to have your friends and family sneaking out of your phone into your house.

Some suggestions I would make using New Media deals with marketing, student learning, and engaging staff and students. We would be able to improve the college by using digital technologies for sure. First, digital marketing through Social Media is a great tool for colleges when attracting potential students. This would help generate web traffic, and we can showcase who we are and what we have to offer. Next, using Google+ is an effective tool for allowing staff and students to collaborate. It provides a unified learning environment that spreads education outside the classroom. This would allow users to share information and feedback around the clock. A blog is a diary-type exposition that is presented in reverse chronological order. Blogs can cover multiple topics/subjects from personal to political. Bloggers are able to focus on one subject, or multiple. Blogs are a place where you can freely express your opinions and/or expertise on a subject. On the other hand, Wiki is a collaborative website where you create, edit and structure content. You are to able to edit others' content, and they can edit yours. Also, you can plan events, and work on projects collectively. Today's networked world allows us to share information, ideas, or to educate others. When you compare blogs and wikis,  it is the same as comparing individual and collaborative. However, blogs can be collaborative; everyone can add useful information and comments on other peoples posts.
